Monochromatic Birthday Card

I'm a day late publishing my card for the Bellarific Friday this week. The challenge was to create a card using ribbon, and I am a total ribbon hoarder - there is something absolutely irresistible in  the prettiness of tiny or not so tiny stripes of fabric... I've seen some absolutely amazing creations involving ribbons on the world wide web, and whenever I see something stunning, I try to replicate it :-) This was exactly the case with my card today - I just had to do a double-loop ribbon bow I learned from Becca. Love it! And the layout is inspired by Yvonne. I'm recently hooked to the purple/lilac colour and wanted to do a monochromatic card using my today's favourite :-) I used Stamping Bella's daisies stamp (discontinued), MS around-the-page punch set for the lower layer of colour cardstock, Spellbinders' Nestabilities for the mid-layer of colour, Copic markers for the stamped image, some pearls for the bouquet, and ribbon from Michaels. Hope you enjoy it! And thank you for stopping by!
