Today I'm submitting a card to the Bellarific Friday which this week is to create a card for Mother's Day. The moment I saw Bella's stamp Mom of the Year, I fell in love with it and had to have it in my collection. This card is for my wonderful mother in law, who is a fantastically talented cook, and who helps me raise my little energizers from day one. And she's always cheerful, always smiling, always positive no matter what. I'm very very lucky to have such a great mom-in-law :-). So, this card is for her (the image is 100% my MIL). And, no, she doesn't know I have a blog and I'm writing about her :-) It's my little secret :-)

Okay, I had to play a bit more with the tissue paper and teabag folding technique :-). I've created this rather large flower with the lacey circles from Spellbinders, and decided to keep it a central embellishment for my next birthday card. I also used JustRite's stamp Birthday Girl, which, I think, is discontinued (or I'm out of luck searching their site for this stamp). Anyways, two conditions for this week's JustRite challenge are met: flower made with the help of Spellbinders' dies and a JustRite stamp :-) Yep, I'm posting this card on their site for this challenge. Cheers!

Yay, I'm participating in the JustRite's challenge this week! The challenge is to use Spellbinders' dies to create a dimensional flower and to use JustRite's stamps on the same card. I've had an idea of creating a tissue flower for quite a long time, and this seemed a perfect occasion to play along! Well, I've decided to create a girlish birthday card. For the flower's petals I used Spellbinders' smallest die in the lacey circles set, cut out 8 circles and folded them all using teabag folding technique, then put all folded circles onto a glue circle and fluffed the petals with a piercing tool. I've also used the next die from the lacey circles set to create a green backing for my flower. For the sentiment layers I used Spellbinders' labels twenty and the matching JustRite stamps from the Kindness set. Ok, I'm crossing my fingers :-)

Today I'm participating in Stamping Bella's Bellarific Friday. The challenge was to use polka dot somewhere on the card, and my card got a bit out of control with all the dots I wanted to put on it :-) The sweet image is of Stamping Bella (hard to guess, right?), Martha's around the page punches, my take on the new ribbon flower Becca teaches how to create on her blog, and the crazy bright colours to cheer up my dear friend Sydney, whose birthday is just a few days away :-) Thank you for stopping by - I kind of dance and jump when I see comments on my blog, because it's surreal that people actually do check out my blog and leave super nice comments. :-)
